So, I just finished watching this video of 10 McLaren P1s on track together and it got me wondering, what is the best color for the P1? Personally, I really like Amethyst Black.

I agree. However, I'm biased because I've always had an affinity for dark purples.

You mean purple? I agree that purple is the best. But, I don't think that's a very good looking car. I hate the black inset. It has a little Youabian Puma vibe with those "organic" shapes.

Yeah, I gotcha. I don't know, I'm usually not a massive fan of it, but it just looks so perfect on the P1. It really brings out the lines of the car, while other colors almost hide them, in my opinion.

Volcano Orange is my favorite McLaren color period. It looks amazing on the 12C, 650S, and P1.

After seeing Clarkson test this thing , I can honestly say that, cost no object, I'd have a P1. Usually I can't answer the question - I hem and haw and can't decide.

I really like the Amethyst also...seen about 15 different colors in person so far. My good friend has his coming next month...this is the rendering the factory sent him of his car( the interior will be a medium blue alcantara)

blacked out his name for obvious reasons. Cant wait to drive it...ill def throw a review on oppo :)

For sure....from roughly 1k miles of 12c seat time , and from the experiences my buddy had driving tom prices's p1(the red one someone posted)i can tell you it will be insanely fast lol
